The air pressure that operates the piston in the cartridge can be adjusted precisely with the pressure regulator. When the pressure regulator is not working optimally it has an impact on the supply of material and thus the spray pattern. The pressure regulator can be replaced easily.

Step 1

Repair gun and required parts.

Step 2

Disconnect the black air hose from the pressure regulator (108401AS103) at the back of the repair gun.

Step 3

Now unscrew the black union nut (108401PA003) at the back of the repair gun.

Step 4

Remove the black union nut from the pressure regulator and aluminium back.

Unscrew the small black nut (108401BP007) from the pressure regulator.

Step 5

Remove the upper section of the pressure regulator.

Push the black rubbers out of the aluminium back.

Step 6

Check both the white rubber seal and the black O-ring. These must be clean and properly fitted.

Step 7

The new pressure regulator (108401AS103).

Fit the part in the aluminium rear.

Step 8

Apply silicone spray (108401BP032) to the repair gun's screw threads, where the black union nut is attached.

Step 8

Fit the black union nut over the new pressure regulator and aluminium back.

Step 9

Fit the aluminium back, including the pressure regulator and black union nut, back on the repair gun.

New tighten the black union nut firmly.

Step 10

Connect the black air hose to the new pressure regulator.

Step 11

The repair gun GR1500 is now ready for use.
